Problem to Solve
Encapsulate the emotional tone of a song and transfer into a physical representation. I chose to do the Roland Faunte’s Happy Life

Creative SOLUTION
I wanted to capture the emotional pain of this song and also tell a story. I show a man who is bandaged over his heart as he reads past love notes and releases them into the ocean of his tears. The notes swim around him resembling shark fins, hinting at the possibility that he has perhaps not fully healed from his wounds as the sharks smell the blood in the water. I successfully created a physical representation of an emotional feeling that most of us have experienced at one point or another.
